While we know that nothing in life is free, we've done our best to make it easier and more affordable for you to visit the Goodnews River Lodge. We know that you'll leave with a limit of priceless memories.

Goodnews River Lodge Trips

We will not be raising our prices for 2010!
Fishing at the Goodnews River Lodge will again cost $5250. This includes 7 nights
and 6 1/2 days of guided fishing, with two anglers to a guide. It also includes
deluxe tent accommodations, meals, all amenities, lures and flies, terminal
tackle, loaner gear, (if necessary). and boat service. Since the village of
Goodnews Bay is not served by any commercial airlines, we have arranged
an exclusive Charter direct from Anchorage to Goodnews Bay and return via
a completely restored DC-3. The Charter cost is $750, and you will be invoiced
for it along with your week of fishing. Our weeks run Wednesday to Wednesday,
from June 16-23 thru Sept. 1-8. The camp is limited to 16 anglers per week.

We are offering an Opening Week (June 16-23) Trout special, limited
to 4 anglers at $3900 plus the regular charter fare.
The week of July 21-28 is Family Week. For every Adult at regular price,
a child under 16 fishes for free. You pay only their charter fare.
For the week of Sept. 1-8, in addition to the regular fishing program, there is also
an optional Cast and Blast package available, with morning and evening duck
hunting, and fishing during the day, for an additional charge of $1000.00.
A child under 16 accompanied by an adult is welcome any week of the season
for only $3150, plus the regular Charter fare.
At the end of your week, we seal your fish in waxed, lock boxes for you
to take home and share with family and friends.

Our season books up quickly, and all reservations will be handled on a first
come, first served basis. Reservations can only be guaranteed upon reciept of a 50% non-refundable deposit. If you are interested in booking a specific week,

Goodnews River Lodge Private Charter

The Fine Print
All guests must take the Charter flight. There is really no other way to get here.
Goodnews River Lodge will not be held responsible if you miss the Charter.

Reservations will not be confirmed until the reciept of a 50% non-refundable
deposit per guest.

Due to our short season and the need to plan far in advance, all monies are
non-refundable

Notification of cancellations must be received in writing. If you must cancel, we
will offer you the option to move your trip to another available week.

Substitutions are always recommended.

We strongly urge you to purchase Trip Insurance either through your Travel
Agent or through the Goodnews River Lodge at the time of your reservation.
You should also check with your credit card company or bank to see if they offer
protection on missed flights.

If Goodnews River Lodge cancels a holiday, a full refund will be provided, except
where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is
prevented by circumstances amounting to "force majeure". Such circumstances
shall include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism,
strife, industrial disruption, natural disasters, fire, technical problems, or accidents
with airports, ports, or transport, inclement weather, governmental action, and
similar events beyond our control.

Liability
Goodnews River Lodge accepts no responsibility for any affect that incliement
weather conditions may have on your holiday.

Adherence to dietary requirements can only be guaranteed if notified in writing
at least 14 days prior to departure. All requests will be met wherever possible,
but failing to provide for any special requests will not constitute a breach of
contract.

Goodnews River Lodge accepts no liability for personal accident or injury to any
person while a guest of the lodge, while persuing any activity, or while being
transported in a company vehicle or in any vehicle contracted by Goodnews
River Lodge.

All personal property is considered in the safekeeping of the owner, unless
handed to the Proprietors for safe storage.

Rates do not include fishing license, King Salmon tag (if applicable),Duck stamps & License (if applicable), Native Land Use Fee transportation to and from Anchorage and point of departure or staff tips. We reserve the right to assess a Fuel Surcharge if necessary
